Business Credit Builder FAQs

Why do other companies charge $2,500 to $5,000+?

It is said that labor is the most expensive cost to a business owner. Through our system we have taken the labor out of the equation. By doing this we are able to offer more information, better results, and a detailed step by step program, at a cheaper cost. It is that simple.

I have been contacted by one of three business credit agencies asking for $500 to $800 to open my credit file?

Do not pay them. We will show you have to open all three files for free. This technique alone pays for the cost of our business credit builder. Congratulations you are now ahead of the game!

Can you guarantee me that my business will get financing?

Each business owner’s situation is unique and different. What we mean is the business owner’s time in business, industry, and experience all play critical roles. Therefore we cannot guarantee any amount financing; however, we can give you the tools to have the best chance at success. We guarantee if you complete our step by step system business credit builder, you will build strong business credit scores with Experian Smart Business Credit, Equifax Small Business Financial Exchange, and Dun & Bradstreet. You will also know the most flexible lending institutions and banks in the industry.

Are there any other costs that I can expect to pay?

Going through the system there are other service providers (not us) that can help you expedite the process. These services most of the time are not mandatory. However some costs are required to operate a business such a business phone line. These items would be classified as the normal cost of doing business.

Cost that would be incurred is the payments made to the creditors and or vendors. In order to build business credit you do need to have vendor accounts and business credit cards. These credit limits are reported when activity takes place; therefore, you would have to use them to build up a payment history with your business.

When you are in the Vendor and Retailer finance areas and start putting items on credit, there will be some down payments that you have to make to get started.

Within the system it contains a multitude of vendors. Each vendor has different business services and products ranging from office supplies and logo designs, to computers and printing services. The amount you want to charge is entirely up to you. The more use of credit the faster the business credit is built.

Lastly, if you need to open a business account or create a business entity there may be additional fees.

Why do the vendor and lender applications ask me for a personal guarantee and social security number? I thought that this program does not require my personal information?

The program helps you get lines of credit under your business name only, without any personal guarantees or social security numbers. However, this does not prevent most of the vendors from telling you that you must provide your personal guarantee or asking for your social security number on the application.

Simply leave the social security number blank and do not sign the personal guarantee. After all, you are applying for a business line of credit.

In an ever changing world of finance some banks will require you to personally guarantee a business loan. Take a minute to understand the logic behind this. Why would a bank give an unsecured business loan without the business owner having any skin in the game? You have the choice to choose which banks or funding sources to deal with. If you do not want to personally guarantee the loan only apply to the institutions that do not require a personal guarantor.

How long does the credit building process take?

If you properly follow the entire program step by step the credit builder takes about 120 days. The process is simply laid out to show you how to build business credit the right way. It shows you how to get your business reporting with the three main business credit reporting agencies; Experian Smart Business Credit, Equifax Small Business Financial Exchange, and Dun & Bradstreet.

You will be provided with a detailed section on reporting vendors and business credit card providers to choose from to obtain the 5 vendor accounts and 3 business credit cards. The time taken is largely in part to make payments on the credit terms and have them report to the business credit agencies.

How many line of business credit should I apply for?

You should apply for at least 5 vendor accounts (net pay), 2 leases/loans (installment lines of credit) and at least 3 business credit cards under the business name.

If I am willing to personally guarantee a business loan or line of credit can I apply right away?

The short answer is yes. If you meet the minimum requirements of the banking or financial institutions then you can receive financing immediately. Please take into consideration that the Build Business Credit Program is strategically laid out in a certain format to insure the best possible results. Skipping ahead may hinder the approvals and or results.

Do you supply a DUNS number for me?

No. You must register and get your DUNS number. We will however show you how and where to get one for free.

The application is asking for my DUN and Bradstreet number, but D&B told me I will not receive it in the mail for 30 days. Can I still fill out the application and apply for my business credit or do I have to wait?

In most cases not having your D-U-N-S number will not stop you from submitting your application. Just submit the application and leave the D-U-N-S number blank.

If the vendor reports to D&B they will find you in the database.

If you are faxing the application, you can write in the box applied for or pending in the box asking for the D-U-N-S number. The vender will ten know you have submitted a request to D&B and have not received it.

Do you apply to the vendor or lender on my behalf?

No. You must initiate the contact with the vendor or lender and fill out the required paperwork.
